Hello from
North Carolina. I teach art for student who will become elementary school
teachers. I am sending them to your website to visit. If they have
questions, do you think you might have time to answer? It would be fun for
them to talk to you directly. We are in the mountains, so flying a kite is
very hard. The wind is tricky. We have some people who use kites for
soaring, though.
I lived in Japan for a little while, in Joetsu-shi,
Niigata prefecture, and also in Suginamiku, Tokyo.
Thank you for a
lovely website. Best wishes.
Janet

Mr.
Mikiotoki,
Tnx for your effort in sharing to the world the art of edo kite.
I saw this on Philipine TV featuring japanese kites and I was
empress because I wasn't aware that japan has its own way of
making kites until I saw one.
Please keep on sharing japanese traditional way of making kites.
More power and god bless.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful kite works and helping me to
frame two pieces of art work my wife has done under instruction from
John Pollock. Soon she will be able to fly her colors.
